If you chose TRICK, your task today might feel like the ultimate trick because it’s a two-parter…
- Think of at least 1 way that you BENEFIT from your clutter. Benefit?! I know, it might sound crazy, BUT if you did deep enough you may be able to identify 1 (or more) ways that having clutter actually does have a payoff. Just to clarify, that “payoff” may not be a positive thing. It might be that shopping is your social activity and you get a rush from acquiring new things. It may be that having clutter is a way of keeping you safe from others because you can’t invite them into your home (and your life). Do a little soul-searching and see what, if anything, comes up.
- Then, complete 1 nagging task that you’ve been avoiding.
- Finally, visit the post in the Facebook group to share how it went!
If you chose TREAT, your task for the day is to connect with someone. This can be spending time with someone in person, on the phone, or a written note. Tell the person something you appreciate about them and thank them for being part of your life.
Then visit the post in the Facebook group to share who you spent time with and why they’re special to you. The more details, the better! (If you’re willing to share.)
