The weather’s still warm and enjoyable right now, but I know it’s only a matter of time before rain or snow drive us indoors. As a mom of four (soon to be five) kiddos, I need to be prepared with interesting activities so the kids can have fun indoors without electronics, and I can stay sane. Bonus points if it’s educational too!
These are some of the fun activities I’ve found that I know my kids would love to try.
Best of all, most of them can be done with things we already have floating around the house.
Fun, frugal, and educational?! Doesn’t get better than that!
Marshmallow Catapult {It’s Always Autumn}
DIY Crepe Paper Laser Maze {Brassy Apple}
Rain Cloud Science {Messes to Memories}
Hopscotch Mat {A Girl and a Glue Gun}
Paper Plate Ring Toss {A Little Learning for Two}
Balloon Rockets {Discover Explore Learn)
Sticky Spider Web {Hands on as We Grow}
Tape tracks on the floor {Play at Home Mom LLC}
DIY Light Tunnel {Homespun Aesthetic}
Straw Javelin Throw {Toddler Approved}
Ball Toss {Catch my Party}
Spinning Nerf Targets {Frugal Fun for Boys}
Aren’t those amazingly creative and super easy to make?! Honestly, the next time it so much as sprinkles around here I’ll be making the ring toss, sticky spider web, and crepe paper laser maze. I just hope the kids get a chance to play with them too. 😉
What are your favorite ways to have fun indoors without electronics?
