Welcome back for day two of the 2018 Holiday Decluttering Challenge!
On Monday, we started decluttering our entryways, and I shared a live tour of my messy front room. I had no intention of doing a video at that time (as you could probably see from the very chic no makeup, still in pajamas, and covered in baby spit up look I was sporting), but when there’s quiet in a house full of kids, and someone else is holding the baby, you take advantage of that time! I promised real life decluttering, but that my have been a little too real even for me!
I’ll eventually share a post all about my progress here on the blog, but if you just can’t want to see what I’m up to and are interested in getting updates in real time, you can follow along on Instagram and the Declutterathon group on Facebook.
Okay, today brings us task number two, which is…
Entryway Closet Organization!
After welcoming our guests into our homes, we usually want to make them feel comfortable and offer to take their coats. We’re happily chit-chatting away when we open our entryway closet doors only to be greeted with a big, embarrassing mess! Ahh!!
Well not this year! This year, we’re going to open the door to a pretty, well organized space that has just the essentials. No embarrassing moments lurking in there any more.
Our entryway closet is really deep, and we rarely use it since the entrance we use most is by our garage so I’ll be honest… I have no idea what’s in there. I know there are a bunch of picture frames, old phone books that we’ve never used, and then a dark corridor of mystery so if you enjoy dangerous adventures into the unknown, I’ll share a video on my Instagram and Facebook accounts soon.
Free Printable Holiday Decluttering Schedule
I’ve gotten a lot of requests for a schedule of events and areas we’ll be decluttering over the course of our seven week challenge so I decided to make a printable schedule so you can easily follow along and even rearrange things if need be.
To get your copy, click here to subscribe to my newsletter. The printable will automatically download after you confirm your email address. Already subscribe? Great! Just enter your name and email again to get your copy. Don’t worry! You won’t start getting duplicate emails from me. This is just the easiest and fastest way to get everyone a copy.
I’ll see you back here Friday for our next decluttering task!

So far, I’ve gotten a pass on the declutter challenge, I don’t have an entry way or entry closet! Win, win. Ahem, however, I’m still working on shredding political snail mail and ads along with health care option mail. Guess which I’d prefer?
Emily
Haha! Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I think the passes might be coming to an end soon. Then again, if it rescues you from the shredding of snail mail this may be music to your ears! 😉

Many thanks in advance for your free printable holiday decluttering schedule.

My pleasure!! <3

I subscribed again and the worksheet did not download.

Hi Megg, Hmm… I’m sorry to hear that! Did you confirm your subscription? The worksheet should automatically download when you open the confirmation email and click confirm. If that’s what you’ve done, and it doesn’t work, please let me know. Sorry for the inconvenience!
