Earlier this month in my Counting Down to Christmas post I shared that my family was marking each day of before Christmas with a fun activity. We read stories, had a family dance party, shared things we love about each other, and played this game for our family game night.
This game may sound familiar to you. I think the cast of The Office played this in one of their episodes (first season, I think). It’s easy and fun, and I’ve already done the hard work for you in making the cards. Woohoo!
Rules: each person takes a card and, without looking at it, holds the card up to their foreheads. They ask questions like, “Am I a person? Am I an animal?” and so on until they guess what their card says.
I added a sheet of blank squares so you can make your own cards, and I was sure that each word had a picture so kiddos who aren’t able to read can still play along.
I printed my cards on regular computer paper, though I’d recommend something thicker like cardstock so you can’t read through the backs. I also laminated mine in hopes of them making it through one game!

I hope you have a wonderful time playing with your family, and I’d love to hear how it goes. Was one card harder to guess than another?

This looks like a fun game. We had Who am I in our Christmas Crackers last year (do you have crackers, or is it a uk thing only?) Anyway loads of fun for the whole family and a similar game to this except they are all famous people. The kids found it especially funny when Dad was Taylor Swift and had NO clue.
Emily
I’m not sure what Christmas Crackers are, but they sound like something I’d like! 🙂 That’s hilarious about Dad being Taylor Swift. My kids (daughter especially) would’ve loved that. She’s a big Taylor Swift fan.
Randi
What a fun activity!
Thanks for linking up with the Home Matter Link Party!
Have a lovely weekend,
